The Rodriguez family on 3rd St wants you to know that Alex’s Little Free Library would like to give children from our community a unique and exciting place to drop off their mail for Santa during the holiday season.
This Library is named for one of the Rodriguez’ daughters, Alexandra, who is the steward for the library and who weekly refills, stamps and organizes the free books for neighbors to stop by and help themselves. Bring a book to leave when you visit – maybe you’ll find a book to take with you to enjoy.
At the Library this holiday season, the 2nd Annual “Letters to Santa”, inspired by The Elf on the Shelf book, is now open. Alexandra & Angelika Santa’s Mailbox is located in front of Alex’s Little Free Library, 4041 E. 3rd St. The mailbox was donated by Mrs. Tang – we recycled and decorated it. Letters, which can be addressed to the North Pole, need to be received prior to December 21st in order to receive a personalized response from Santa with a surprise gift included! Letters must include the child’s name, age and address to receive a response. Last year the Rodriguez family sent over 50 personalized letters and gifts! Fun fact … Santa’s Mailbox has had some recent snow sightings! Come see for yourself!
