Neighborhood Watch for Peter Howell Neighborhood

Posted on May 26, 2017October 18, 2019 by Donald Ijams

A Peter Howell Neighborhood Association board member, Mary Koopman, is spearheading the reactivation of Neighborhood Watch for our streets.

Mary, who lives near 4th St and Longfellow, is holding a meeting to organize and make a plan for how to have our blocks become part of the program.

Date: Wed June 14, 2017
Time: 6:30 PM
Location:  Eckstrom-Columbus Library – 22nd and Columbus

“Neighborhood Watch is simply a program of neighbors watching out for each other during the workday, evenings, vacations or any other absence. The purpose of the Neighborhood Watch program is to create an alert neighborhood by using simple crime prevention methods. The program works through the mutual aid of neighbors watching the property of other neighbors.”

Please join us.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but are interested in this program, please let Mary know.
