Have you considered volunteering to be on the neighborhood association board of directors? You might want to get involved by volunteering for one of the many committees being established to improve the quality of life in Peter Howell Neighborhood.
The election of next year’s board will be held at our fall general meeting. The upcoming meeting is 15 October at the La Quinta Inn & Suites 102 N. Alvernon Way at 6:30 PM. You may volunteer for the board by e-mailing PHNA at phnaemail@gmail.com . Peter Howell Neighborhood Association (PHNA) can have up to 15 members on the executive board and there are unlimited opportunities to participate on the proposed standing or Ad Hoc committees. The proposed standing committees include events, park improvements, school liaison, streets and infrastructure, curb appeal, and communications. Ad Hoc committees will look at formalizing PHNA structure, acquiring 501C3 status, conducting neighborhood surveys and specific short term projects.
