Alvernon Park ReadySetRec, fun and games including bocce and horseshoes will be on hand for all. Also, a standby for food at Peter Howell Neighborhood Association events, El Sinaloense Hot Dog Cart, will be back again with us on Saturday. Delicious Sonoran style hotdogs will temp you. Also available will be the food truck Doshirok which means "lunchbox" in Korean. Doshirok specializes in dishes like beef bulgogi and spicy pork, with sweets like Yakgwa cookies. The pork is a favorite, but customers tend to first fall in love with the beef. Lots going on this weekend, but please support your neighborhood by turning out for meeting your neighbors, having fun and enjoying good food.

Parade participants, family, friends and neighbors will gather at Alvernon Park starting at 3:30 PM. The drum band that has lead the parade in years past will be back again this year as will the El Sinaloense Hot Dog cart. Please join us at this fun event.
