Tucson Road Repairs | Citizen Input on RTA Funding Needed!

Good Afternoon,

In last weeks newsletter I discussed the horrible condition of our streets.  I also outlined some potential solutions.  In today’s Arizona Daily Star, reporter Becky Pallack explored the ideas. It also provides a survey to let you as citizens vote about the proposal that requests the Board of Supervisors allow the citizens of each municipality to decide if they want to dedicate 20% of RTA funding for road repairs.  

This proposal is regional because each area could decide for themselves and it would not involve any tax increase, just a reallocation of RTA money.
