Each year, Peter Howell Neighborhood Association has an annual meeting to conduct business, elect new board of director members and provide a forum for neighbors to catch up with each other, and learn of neighborhood current events and association plans.
This year’s annual meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Peter Howell Elementary School, 401 N. Irving Ave. You are invited to attend.
At the October 18 meeting, among the items we will cover are updates on the Tree Committee’s progress toward receiving a grant to plant ten new trees at Alvernon Park, and have Kate Gannon from Trees for Tucson speak on a grant for Watershed Management for our park. We will also have City Councilman Steve Kozachik speak on pertinent activities in Ward 6. John Sainz will present a proposal to rename Alvernon Park. We will also have our annual board of directors election, hopefully including some new faces – maybe you!
We look forward to seeing you there!
